2011 Kadayawan Festival Street Dancing Parade

As promised here are some photos I took from this year's recently concluded Kadayawan Festival Celebration in Davao City. Photos below are all from last Saturday's event, one of the highlights of the week-long celebration- the Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan (street dancing) where 22 groups from different parts of Davao Region showcased their tribe and culture through street dancing.

It was quite a pain taking good angles of each participating group as there were bunch of photographers around aiming to get the best shots they could as well. But here I've sorted out some for you to look at. They're not the best but still I hope you enjoy them just as much as I enjoyed taking all them for you. ;)

Photo Dimensions: 3648 x 2736. Click each image to view full size.

hey Nancy,

despite the hindrances that you mentioned, your photographs came out really fine. :) I haven't been to this festival before but a lot of friends told me it was fun. I wish to experience it one of these days... :)

Wow, what colorful eye-candy photos! That festival looks beautiful and impressive, and reminds me somewhat of the Native American powwows over here. It must really be something to experience it in person!

I want one of those giant baskets that one group is carrying! :-)
