Felis Resort Complex in Davao

When in Davao and you’re looking to relish soothing calmness of nature or simply wanting a peaceful haven to spend a day, Feliz Resort Complex is one of the places to be. The resort has been in existence for years. Its secluded location at Shanghai Matina Aplaya affords a magnificent view of Mt. Apo (Philippines highest mountain) across the shore.

Warning: Pictures overload. Some photos I took from our last year’s visit.
For our second visit this year, JK and I decided to stay for a day --- that was after he realized he’s enjoying playing songs with that videoke machine standing at the dining hall where we had launch. There were only two of us there like we’re some sort of VIP --- ha-ha but we’re not. We just simply enjoyed every moment of that experience. The rest of the guests who came in group stayed under thatched roof huts that you will find around.
Yes, I sang too...what can I say. I got the most requested songs on list, LOL!
Then here comes afternoon. Thought I wanted to watch and capture some photos of the sun setting down so we walked up to the resort’s bar that’s sitting over the sea. It is where you will get a view of the majestic Mt. Apo. While waiting we took couple pictures of ourselves using our camera on a tripod. :D
They say the mountain is best viewed in the morning. Here it is --- a picture I took from our last year's visit.
Back to the present, there's me watching out for the dramatic transformation of the clouds across the sea.
Oh, but the tale doesn’t end there. I hope I am not boring you yet because before we had dinner and finally head out the place we went for a swim first – a short one just to relax and try the pool out for the second time. That was so refreshing!

Here’s another old pictures of the pool…
Finally, the two delighted souls...
