The Sunken Cemetery in Camiguin Island

Photo location: Brgy. BonBon, Catarman
Camiguin Island, Philippines

I've been in this island twice... once in my teenage life and once in 2011 with my family. To have experienced all of its historic attractions was such a dream fulfilled.

This sunken cemetery in particular is now one of the world's most unique diving sites. This was after the series of historic volcanic eruptions in 18th and 19th century stirred the land and sunk the whole old capital of the place including the cemetery around 20 feet deep down the sea.

But would I attempt to explore down this sunken cemetery? I guess not! Even if I get the most expensive sterling silver bracelet there is for a prize, LOL!

Many people did, though. Would you?
